17,000 students in St. Louis Missouri getting fired up about missions. It's pretty great. They've been doing this thing since 1946. Being here is like stepping into history!
Why do students come here? When asked this question in a survey 72% responded "to seek God's call for my life." That's what makes this such a remarkable event. You're surrounded by young people who are sincerely pursuing a life that really makes a difference. They are hungry.
I decided to test that statistic out and I've been asking the young people that stop by our booth what they are here for, and it's true: they want to discover God's purpose for them.
There are 100 countries represented here. The worship group has led songs from very diverse parts of the world, in several different languages.
Even though my job here is to represent Enterprise International, I can honestly say that I my spirit is being refreshed and I am finding new motivation for my work.
